The Corner Of the Shopping Mall Can Also Become A Paradise for Fast Food

If you want to set up a fast food area in the corner of a shopping mall, it may seem that the space is limited, but in fact, there are many clever ideas! Today, with this set of Lubbdubb Cafe designs, I will talk to you about how to turn the "small place" in the corner of a shopping mall into a small food paradise that attracts customers.

First, grasp the core of "space utilization" and make the corner "bigger"

food corner

The corners of shopping malls are generally irregular in shape and may be close to walls and pillars. Don't be afraid! The key is to plan the traffic flow so that customers can order, eat, and leave smoothly when they come in.

(I) Ordering area: put "urgent needs" in a conspicuous place

You can see in the design that the ordering counter and menu board are placed near the most conspicuous entrance. The first step for people who come to fast food is definitely to order, so the ordering area is the "first stop" so that customers can see the menu and the cashier as soon as they come in, without having to look for them everywhere.

As in our design, the menu screen is bigger, the pictures and prices of dishes are clear, and it is matched with a simple ordering counter, which can directly maximize efficiency.

(II) Dining area: "Flexible combination"

Since the space in the corner is limited, you have to flexibly arrange the tables and chairs. You can mix and match small round tables, single chairs, and high stools as in the design. Put high stools and narrow long tables near the window to take advantage of the light by the window without taking up too much space; put small round tables and surrounding seats in the middle area, which are suitable for friends and small families to eat together. In this way, whether it is a quick meal for one person or a small gathering of many people, there is a place to sit, and every inch of space is used.

Displaying "hard goods" is indispensable to make customers "at first sight"

Fast food sells fast and delicious food. If the display is good, customers will place orders in seconds!

(I) Digital Menu Boards

This is definitely a "soul display"! Display popular dishes, new products, and discounted packages with high-definition pictures and clear price tags, and arrange them in different areas as shown in the picture, so that burgers, drinks, and snacks can be clearly seen at a glance. You can also change the menu according to the time period, and flexibly switch between breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea to capture the needs of customers at different times.

(II) Food Display Case

The food display cabinet in the design is so important! Put the prepared sandwiches, cakes, and freshly made foods in it, and turn on the bright lights, so that the food looks fresh and tempting. When customers pass by and see it, they will instantly have an appetite, especially with the open display, which can also increase the sense of interaction and make people want to choose.

(III) Brand logo

The Lubbdubb logo is on the ordering counter, wall, and even the light board, which is to strengthen memory! People come and go in the mall, and customers remember your brand and will come again next time. You can integrate brand color and logo into the decoration, such as wall decoration and seat color matching.

Materials & Matching: "Practical + Good-looking"

The materials of the fast food area in the corner of the mall must be durable and match the overall style.

(I) Floor and wall: "Dirty-resistant + Bright"

Choose smooth and easy-to-clean tiles for the floor. If customers accidentally spill drinks or food, they can just mop it clean. Simple white and wood colors are used for the walls, making the space bright and warm. Like the light colors in the design, even if the space is small, it will not be oppressive.

(II) Furniture: "Lightweight + Durable"

Tables and chairs are made of lightweight wood and fabric materials, which are easy to move (such as adjusting seats during peak hours) and wear-resistant. Small round tables and low stools do not take up space and can create a relaxing atmosphere, which is in line with the fast and casual tone of fast food.

(III) Lighting: "Focus + Atmosphere"

Chandeliers and track lights are matched together. The ordering area and display cabinets use key lighting to illuminate the food and menus; the dining area uses soft atmosphere lights to make customers eat comfortably. Like the white chandelier and the small black chandelier in the picture, they have both a sense of design and use the light in the right place.

"Hidden skills": make the corner "super interesting"

In addition to these basics, there are also small details that can add points!

(I) Use pillars: "Turn shortcomings into highlights"

If there are pillars in the corner, don't panic! You can wrap the pillars with brand color decorations, or make them into small display racks, and put some cultural and creative peripherals and small green plants, which not only cover the "flaws" but also add an eye-catching point.

(II) Increase interaction: "Retain customers"

Put a small blackboard in the corner, write some recommendations of the day and interesting slogans, or set up a self-service water and sauce station to make customers feel involved. In this way, customers stay longer and can order more food, quietly increasing customer orders.

(III) Takeaway area: "Capture online customer flow"

There are also many takeaway orders in the mall! You can set up a small takeaway pick-up area in the corner and put up a sign to make it convenient for the delivery guy to pick up the food. He won’t be crowded with dine-in customers, thus doubling his efficiency.
