The food court in the shopping mall is a type of store that is often overlooked in the mall. However, as it is located in the central area of the mall with a large amount of foot traffic, choosing this place to start your food business is the best option. We recently launched a brand-new food court. Let's take a look at its design details together. I believe this can also help you find plenty of inspiration.
The Most Eye-Catching Food Stall
As the core component of the food court, the design of the entire booth is of utmost importance. From the exterior perspective, it doesn't differ much from many individual food kiosks. To meet your greater demands for food preparation, the size is usually larger. The main color scheme adopts warm and soothing light tones, combined with exquisite weaving elements, creating booths that resemble little pavilions in a fairy tale, filled with the freshness of summer, and instantly capturing people's attention.

Smooth Kiosk Design
In this food court, the space beneath the escalators was fully utilized, enclosing them like drawing countless "gentle circles" in the space:

Flow Lines
The spatial layout has engraved "freedom" into every inch:
1. Shop distribution
The shops are not arranged in a rigid queue, but are scattered and placed like a jigsaw puzzle. The middle passage is wide enough for two people to push shopping carts side by side. Even during meal times when there are many people, there is no oppressive feeling; moreover, each shop has an "independent display surface", and no matter from which direction you approach, you can immediately see the delicious food.

2. Seat selection: The seating area is like a "diverse little world":

3. Transition area
A "small scenic corner" was specially created beside the escalator. There are arc-shaped wooden benches and small green plant arrangements. Even if you are just waiting for a friend, you can touch the rattan decorations and look at the veins of the plant leaves.
Decorative Details
Those areas that are easily overlooked actually conceal the most touching touches:
1. Lighting Magic:
Sphere-shaped chandeliers: The warm white spherical lights are like a bunch of suspended cotton candies, and the soft light can make the colors of the food appear even more inviting. When it lights up at night, the entire food court looks like a "lit dessert market";
Embedded Light Rails: The light rails are hidden at the edges of the stalls and under the low walls of the seating area. The warm yellow light is like an "invisible gentle hand", gently outlining each area, not only supplementing the lighting but also adding more depth to the space.

2. Plant Atmosphere:
Large Green Plants: Tropical plants like turtle-back bamboo and palm trees have wide and lush leaves. Placing them near the stalls or in the corners instantly gives the space an "urban oasis" feeling;
Small Potted Plants: Between the seats and on the tabletops of the stalls, there are small potted plants of succulents and ferns. The delicate and exquisite leaves complement the delicacy of the food, and when you glance at them while eating, your mood will brighten up.

3. Decorative Interactions:
Food Posters: The posters at the stalls are in a "high-definition food close-up hand-drawn style", such as the smooth texture of ice cream balls and the crispy lines of waffles, all captured clearly.
Wall Relief: The three-dimensional curved relief on the walls, like the trajectory of ice cream dripping from a height, when touched, can feel the uneven texture, as if there is a "tactile interaction" with the space.

Guardrail Design
The guardrail not only ensures safety but also becomes a unique scenic feature. With the design combining transparent glass and wooden texture, it neither blocks the view, allowing people to fully enjoy the bustling scene of the food court while sitting or walking, nor does it prevent them from seeing the outside scenes, thus avoiding a sense of oppression or congestion. The wooden texture also adds a natural and warm touch to the guardrail.
