Open A Donut Kiosk Shop In The Mall Center

To create a donut dessert corner in the corner of the mall, if you want to get rid of the stereotype of conventional kiosks, you have to use some design ingenuity to turn the "small corner" into a dessert paradise that people want to stay in!

Design concept: Use soft lines + warm texture to encircle sweetness

Although most kiosks opened in shopping malls are basically take-away mode, that is, customers take away and eat after ordering. And we designed this donut kiosk to change this mode. The core is the "immersive donut experience" to weaken the cold feeling of the public space of the mall. Use rounded arcs and warm materials to create a healing atmosphere like drilling into a donut box, so that customers will be surrounded by sweetness as soon as they step in, so and customers can sit down and slowly taste various delicacies and snacks.

Layout: Smooth movement line + sufficient interaction, turning the corner into a "magnet"

Central island counter: You can refer to the circular central island counter in the design drawing and use the existing conditions of the mall to enclose the donut display cabinet, cashier counter, and production area into a semicircle or ring. When customers approach from the mall aisle, they can see fresh donuts from 360° - sprinkled with icing, sandwiched with jam, and they can taste the sweetness visually first! Employees operate and provide services in the middle and can also interact with customers naturally.

Step-type seating area: Don't waste corners, place seats of different heights along the windows or walls. The low round table with a round single chair looks like a donut (refer to the white round-backed chair in the picture). Sitting here to eat donuts is a ritual; a long sofa is set against the wall, so friends can share comfortably and it can also serve as a "background board".

Matching: Material + Color, Hiding the Donut’s Little Trick

Material: Choose light gray micro-cement for the floor, the matte texture is high-end, and it is easy to clean after sprinkled with sugar crumbs; the operating table uses light wood color + stone, the wood color is gentle like the donut base, the stone countertop is wear-resistant, and it is very suitable for placing donut trays; the wall is painted with off-white art paint, and a little micro-cement texture is added. The roughness neutralizes the sweetness, and donuts can be hung to make illustrations, which makes the story feel full.

Color: The main color is "low-saturation Morandi", with a mix of off-white, light wood, and mint green (refer to the green tile column in the picture), like the basic frosting color of donuts. The focus is on using the color of the donut itself as an embellishment - the red strawberry flavor, brown chocolate flavor, and yellow caramel flavor in the display cabinet, the natural color display is more eye-catching than deliberately hanging paintings!

Details add points: let the sweetness permeate every corner

Lighting: hang a few small round chandeliers from the ceiling, and the warm yellow halo hits the donuts, doubling the glossiness, and it looks like a glowing sweet magic at night; the light strip is hidden under the operating table to illuminate the bottom of the donuts, 360° without dead angles.

Decoration: You can put a few small green plants in every corner of the entire area to make it look fresh and sweet; hang a handwritten slogan on the wall, "Today's donuts have been loaded", which is lively and warm. Customers can take pictures of the atmosphere.

More importantly, make proper use of the various existing buildings in the shopping mall area. Perhaps when you see a large pillar in the center, it will challenge your business and kiosk design, but for us, a professional design team, it is a very good "window" and highlight for publicity.
