How to Make the Display Fixture?

The design is consistent with the booth materials. Specific materials have specific properties, so it is important that we know as much information as possible early in the project design. Only in this way can your design become better. For example, suppose you finally get a satisfactory customized booth design. Suddenly, however, you want to use metal instead of wood. This will not be as simple as converting materials, because each material has its own manufacturing method and cost. There are a lot of structures that need to be reconsidered to make certain building components look the way you want them to. If your budget is tight, then we can give you a guide on the price of goods. Generally speaking, the more information provided during the design phase, the better.

Here is some important information that you can know in advance.

Budget

If the budget is small, this will limit the potential of your kiosk design. But if your budget is flexible or high, you can do a lot. In this case, you should talk to the supplier about your ideas so you can find your options. You need to make your budget realistic and as accurate as possible so that you can make the kiosk that fits your heart. Sometimes a 10-15% increase in your budget is enough to make your kiosk look more upscale and bring out your brand's charm.

Durability

We know that different materials, their usage time, and their value are different. Some materials will last longer than others. That short-lived material will cost more to refurbish or may be difficult to look like new again. You can think about your long-term goals, do you want to reuse the same kiosk and then store it, or do you want to create a new kiosk for each activity. Building a new kiosk will cost you more time and money. Therefore, we recommend choosing better quality materials for construction.

Supervision

In some places, these venues also have restrictions on kiosk requirements. They have strict control over materials and details. So it is important that we understand these limitations when designing these custom booths. Then you can submit your good design to them for review.

Brand Positioning

Based on your own brand positioning, think about how your brand will reflect the masses. For example, if your company is an eco-friendly company but your booth uses a variety of plastic finishes, it is a very bad kiosk. You need to design the kiosk according to the nature of your brand.

Floor

You can use all kinds of flooring materials, and in most cases, it depends on the budget. Other times, it depends on whether you want your booth to look beautiful. Then consider how visitors will feel when they stand at your booth. For example, luxurious carpet rolls make you feel like you are in a luxury hotel. The following are some commonly used exhibition floor materials, which you can learn from.

l Carpet

It should be noted that carpets are usually laid directly on the floor of the venue. The disadvantage of this is that if electricity is needed, the cable will be exposed to the carpet.

Ceramic tile

Usually, 1 meter × 1-meter ceramic tiles are used. We use double-sided tape to stick it directly on the floor of the site, but the disadvantage is that we can see the seam line.

Custom printing

If you want a completely integrated booth, this will be a good choice. You can upgrade your kiosk. You can print your logo and match your brand color directly on the carpet. But these are all one-off, and the upfront cost is very high.

l Pvc flooring

PVC flooring is available in many colors, which is great for creating a good look and feel. If you need a lot of power to your booth, you can install the wires completely under the floor.

Standard color

The most popular color is white, and then you can choose black or gray. There are other colors to choose from, and you can choose a more economical color.

Brand matching color 

You may also want to choose other unique colors, such as blue, yellow, red, and so on, to match your brand. Some colors are limited, and you can choose colors close to the brand according to the brand color code.

Better quality melamine flooring comes from wood grain. The most popular is natural oak. There are also various finishes to choose from.

Materials

We have a variety of materials to choose from, and you can use them as the main structure. The most commonly used material is wood material, namely MDF.

Wood Material

MDF 

MDF is widely used in customized exhibition booths. Because of its popularity, it becomes the most cost-effective bulk purchase. MDF is very easy to use and can come in almost any form. And this material is very easy to shape. On the surface, we do baking varnish and veneer.

Plywood

Plywood is a more wear-resistant material and also has strong structural properties. Plywood is made of natural wood. This material is indeed more expensive than MDF, but it is equivalent to MDF and is stronger and more durable.

Solid wood

These are good structural elements, which can also become the architectural features of your booth. Solid wood can be simply used, and a cabinet with solid wood strips for decoration is very distinctive. Its disadvantage is that the cost of this material will be higher, but solid wood can produce a good surface treatment effect of natural wood. This is often used in the booth of coffee fair, and wants a natural and rustic feeling.

Pine 

Pine is another cost-effective structural material with good natural wood surface treatment. You don't need to apply extra surface treatment to it. However, if the reinforcement is not proper, the long pole may bend, so this also needs to be cautious.  

Metal

Aluminum

Aluminum is a very lightweight structural material, and in some cases, it is very effective as an original exposed building element, such as columns. Because of its structural characteristics, it is also usually used for structural reinforcement of wood components. It is usually done with powder coating or spray paint to match the color of your booth brand.

Iron

Iron has super strength and durability, and because of this, they are often quite heavy. The surface of this material also needs to be treated-galvanized or powder coated.

Stainless steel 

The advantages stainless steel provides many advantages for users of building/decorative metals. The main advantages include its high corrosion resistance, which makes it suitable for harsh environments. It has fire resistance and heat resistance. Sanitary, non-porous surfaces combined with stainless steel's ability to clean easily make it the preferred choice for applications requiring strict hygiene control, such as hospitals, kitchens, and other food processing plants.

Others  

Glass

If you pursue transparent surfaces, the glass will be considered the best material. However, due to its soothing nature, special measures must be taken for transport and movement, as they can rupture if not handled properly. Generally used in jewelry display, mobile phone display, cosmetics display, and so on.

Acrylic

It is a good substitute for glass, easier to use, and usually more cost-effective. Although not as transparent as glass, if you have a limited budget, this may be the right choice for you.

Mirror 

Mirrors are great for covering surfaces, both inside and outside spaces. Because of its reflective characteristics, the space looks more spacious and eye-catching. Like glass, this material needs proper treatment.
