Many high-end shoe stores either cram their Spaces to the fullest or confine customers to a single area with rigid partitions. However, RENE's layout shows its ingenuity from an aerial view: It does not adopt the traditional linear shelves, but takes the central cylindrical vertical bar partition as the core, dividing the entire store into four modules: "entrance window display area - side wall cabinet area - central island counter area - rear cashier area", while maintaining a sense of transparency in the space.

Stepping into the store from the corridor of the shopping mall, the first thing you see are two floor-to-ceiling glass Windows. The golden borders outline a simple profile. Inside, the white shelves are staggered with the season's best-selling high heels. Warm light shines through from below the shelves, catching the attention of passers-by even through the glass.
Upon entering the store, the silver-gray vertical partition in the center not only divides the space but also does not block the view. Customers can naturally flow along both sides of the partition, first browsing the wall cabinet on the left, then going around to the central island counter, and finally reaching the cashier area at the back. The entire movement line does not have forced turns, yet every area can be fully viewed.
The floor is made of light beige terrazzo with fine spots, which is not only dirt-resistant but also reflects light, making the entire space appear brighter. The wall is matte light grey, which avoids the coldness of pure white and won't steal the spotlight from the shoes. The collision of the golden metal frame, wooden shelves and silver-gray vertical bars gives the space a sense of light luxury and refinement in simplicity, without appearing cheap.

It is mainly distributed on the inner side of the shoe store. The white matte shelves are paired with slender golden borders, and the layering logic is clear: the upper layer is used to display the same series of accessories - such as Panama hats, small square bags, and silk scarves, forming a matching scene with the shoes below, allowing customers to directly feel that "this pair of shoes can be worn with these items".
The middle layer is the visual focus area, where high heels, loafers and other main styles are placed at intervals of 15cm. Warm white light strips are embedded along the edges of the shelves, illuminating from bottom to top, perfectly outlining the texture of suede, the luster of lacquer leather, and even the curve of the heel. On the lower level, flat shoes and casual shoes are placed, making it convenient for customers to bend over to check the details. For instance, the yellow stiletto heels in the store have their color saturation magnified under the lighting, instantly becoming the visual center.

This is one of RENE's most distinctive designs. The silver-gray metal vertical bars extend from the floor to the ceiling, paired with freely adjustable golden shoe rests, breaking the rigidity of traditional shelves. The designer did not neatly line the shoes in a row but placed them in a staggered manner: some high heels were hung diagonally on the shoe rests, revealing the elegant curve of the heels.
Some flat shoes are placed horizontally to showcase the design of the upper. Even small bags and hats can be hung between the vertical bars to create a small-scale matching scene. The advantage of this design is its flexibility - it can quickly adjust the display according to the launch of new products, while visually being lighter and not making the space feel cramped.
Located on both sides of the shoe store entrance, the golden frame and floor-to-ceiling glass make the entire display window highly transparent. Only 3 to 4 pairs of the current season's main items are placed on the white shelves inside to avoid congestion. For instance, in the entrance window display, only a few pairs of colorful high heels and a small bag were placed. Warm light shone down from above, making the colors of the shoes stand out particularly in the cold light environment of the shopping mall. It was hard for passers-by not to be attracted.

This is the visual core of the entire store. Silver-gray vertical strips extend from the floor to the ceiling, surrounded by two layers of wooden shelves in the middle, presenting shoes in a 360° display. The designer didn't stuff this place to the brim. Instead, only 8 to 10 pairs of shoes were placed on each floor, arranged in a staggered manner to ensure that each pair of shoes had sufficient "breathing space". From any Angle, the design of the shoes can be clearly seen, such as the purple high heels and the green flat shoes, which stand out particularly under the circular lighting and become the first area that customers notice when they enter the store.
The white matte steps, distributed on both sides of the central display stand, are divided into three layers, with heights ranging from 30cm to 60cm, and are used to showcase key or collaborative items. For instance, orange high heels and black stilettos, when placed on steps of different heights, create a more layered visual effect and allow customers to see the details without bending over. The edges of the steps have been rounded, which is both safe and gentle, in line with the overall light luxury tone.
This is the design that best embodies "humanization". The Tiffany blue suede seats, paired with golden metal frames, are placed beside the island counter and wall cabinets, making it convenient for customers to try them on. The suede material is soft and skin-friendly, contrasting with the cold metal and stone, making customers feel comfortable when trying it on. The Tiffany blue color stands out strikingly against the main tones of light gray and off-white, becoming a bright touch in the space. It neither appears out of place nor fails to leave a lasting impression on customers. For instance, the try-on seats beside the stepped island counter allow customers to pick up their shoes and sit down to try them on, with a very smooth flow of movement.

The golden three-dimensional characters "RENE" are in serif typeface, simple and elegant. Placed on the wall or storefront, they are not overly decorated but can help customers remember the brand. For instance, above the cash register, the golden "RENE" stands out conspicuously on the light grey wall, enhancing brand recognition. Metal (brushed gold, silver grey), wood (shelves, racks), suede (seats), terrazzo (floors), glass (display Windows, partitions), the collision of different materials makes the space more textured. For instance, a brown travel bag placed on a wooden shelf, with the warm wood grain and the texture of the leather complementing each other, contrasts with the metal shoe rack beside it, and does not appear monotonous.
