Elegant Dessert And Gourmet Food Shop

The moment the shop door was pushed open, two completely different worlds unfolded before one's eyes: on one side was the "Sweet Art Gallery" with its pastel-hued atmosphere, featuring flowing arc lines that exuded French romance; on the other side was the "Light Food Vitality Arena" with its combination of mint green and geometric shapes, where diamond patterns and color blocks danced to a modern dance tune. This store transformed "eating desserts" into an immersive journey that engages the senses of sight, touch, and taste through the contrast of colors and the competition of lines.

Color Selection

As you step into the dessert store, the Marmorino pink walls deliver a gentle yet powerful impact - not the garish pink, but a color like a diluted macaron mixed with milk, with a matte texture that reflects a lustrous sheen like silk. It feels as if you can squeeze honey from the touch of your fingertips. The wall is adorned with a row of golden arched display windows, with the curved borders resembling a thin gold chain draped over the wall, instantly elevating the "ordinary wall" to a "jewelry box backdrop"; even the displayed dessert boxes seem to acquire an air of luxury.

Selection of Display Furniture

Glass Display Cases

The central glass display case is the absolute star. The transparent glass completely exposes the desserts to the customers without any concealment, revealing the delicacy of the desserts in detail: the cream lines shine with pearl-like light under the lights, the chocolate shavings emit a fine sparkle, and even the sugar frosting on the cookies is clearly visible as if sprinkled with a layer of snow. The marble countertop at the bottom has a deep brown texture, subtly echoing the geometric mosaic on the floor.

The built-in warm light fixtures climb up from the bottom, giving each pastry a highlight. Even though it is a static display, the colorful desserts dance before the customers' eyes, constantly reminding them to come and choose.

Food Counter

Pass through the display area and turn right. The mint green counter is like a piece of mint candy just taken out of the freezer, with matte tiles giving off a fresh luster. The above "CHAT/PASTA/PIZZA" light box conveys: This place not only sells desserts, but also offers other simple meals for selection.

In the freezer compartment on the inside of the counter, fruit cups and salad boxes are neatly arranged, making it convenient for customers to select the right food at a glance.

Background Wall: The Graceful Arched Design

The arched display window is a natural "spotlight stage": the lower metal shelves are arranged in a staggered pattern, with gift boxes resembling a line of ballet dancers; in the middle layer of glass display cabinets, chocolates form a gradient formation, and macarons are stacked into a rainbow tower; on the top open shelf, pastry boxes and decorative paintings interweave in a sense of depth and light. Within the reflection of the glass and the diffusion of warm light, each sweet treat becomes the main character, irresistibly drawing customers' gazes towards that direction.

Ceiling: The Lit Dome

Looking up at the ceiling, the curved metal light strips resemble crescent moons bent by the wind, wrapped around clusters of white spherical lights. The warm light spills through the metal gaps, casting a veil over the entire space. These curved lines echo the arched shape of the walls, filling the ceiling with the word "exquisite".

Spatial Connection of the Floor

The black and white diamond-shaped floor tiles instantly transported one back to old Shanghai, with a touch of modern elegance - the diamond pattern resembled playing "Tetris", the 45-degree joints made the floor come alive. When light shone on it, the black tiles emitted a dim glow, while the white tiles shone with clarity, as if the floor was equipped with breathing lights. The floor tile pattern extended all the way to the display area, connecting with the geometric mosaic there, secretly sewing the two spaces together.

Line Design

Each curve in the space has its own unique purpose: the arch is a gentle comma, the straight line of the display cabinet is a neat full stop, and the curve of the ceiling is a long ellipsis.

They subtly divide the functional areas and guide the customers' gaze: the arc encloses the display area, the straight line defines the neat shopping area, and the curve leads the eyes to the most enticing desserts. Even the spacing between the display racks is full of thoughtfulness - it makes the pastries look beautiful while also facilitating easy reaching, as if the pastry chef has read our minds.

Highlights of the Seats

The mint green metal chair is fresh and natural, with a slender frame that exudes lightness, while the beige seat cushion hides its softness. Sitting on it, your bottom can sink into comfort. The adjacent bench cushion is even more laid-back, with a light brown fabric and fine texture, and the backrest slightly reclines. The two types of seats, one firm and the other soft, leave it to the customers to choose between "looking good in photos" and "feeling comfortable when sitting".
