Do You Know What The Future Trend of Beauty Salons Will be Like?

The moment you step through the Blue Arch, all the stereotypes about "beauty salons" are shattered. There are no crowded shelves, no noisy sales pitches. Only curving and flowing Spaces, soft light and shadow, and green plants breathing everywhere. It suddenly occurred to me that the "future beauty salon" we had been looking forward to had actually quietly emerged around us.

1. Curved and streamlined design

From the blue-toned arch at the entrance, to the curved bar counter at the front desk, to the cloud-shaped sofa in the rest area, and even the blue curved floor mat on the ground, all the sharp corners are gently dissolved. Cylindrical columns have replaced square ones, and arches have taken the place of door frames. The entire space flows like water, without a clear sense of "boundaries", yet it exudes order everywhere.

The choice of materials is even more eye-catching. The walls made of micro-cement have a fine texture, like a sun-dried beach. The marble countertop at the front desk retains natural cracks, and each pattern is unique. The metal flowerpots and golden screens add a touch of luxury to the cold tone without appearing ostentatious. The most wonderful part is the circular chandelier wrapped in blue gauze above the front desk. It is as light as a cloud. The light filters through the gauze curtain and spills down, even making the air soft.

In terms of color, the main tones are low-saturation off-white and light gray, like a clean canvas, with Klein blue and champagne gold serving as the finishing touches. The blue-toned bar counter, sofa and floor mat are calm and soothing. The golden mirrors, lamps and screens are warm and elegant. The collision of the two colors is neither too jarring nor too dull, precisely hitting the balance point of "high-end feel".

2. Coffee area and nail art area

What surprised me the most was the adjacent design of the coffee area and the nail art area. While waiting for my friend to get a manicure, I didn't sit on the cold plastic chair scrolling through my phone. Instead, I walked to the small bar nearby and ordered a cup of latte. The bar counter is curved, paired with two blue high stools. The washbasin beside it is clean and tidy, and even the faucet is designed like a work of art.

The interaction between the hairdressing area and the wig area is also very interesting. The mirrors in the hair salon area are designed in an arc shape with blue and gold color schemes. Each seat has an independent small space, taking into account both privacy and social interaction. The wig section is right beside it. In the transparent display cabinet, various wigs and hair pieces are on display. Customers can try them on first and then decide whether to get styled or not. This "full-chain beauty industry service" concept not only meets the needs of different customers but also makes the entire experience smoother and more considerate.

The design of the Spa area pays more attention to the "sense of transition". Passing through the golden wavy screen from the rest area, you enter the private space of the Spa area. The curved patterns on the screen echo the curved elements in the space, dividing the areas without looking out of place. The warm light of the candles, the aroma of essential oils, and the soft curtains allow you to naturally switch from the "social mode" to the "healing mode" without any sense of disconnection.

3.  Store atmosphere

Lighting is the key to creating an atmosphere. There is no dazzling main light in the store. Instead, recessed downlights and linear light strips are used to provide basic lighting, and various shaped chandeliers and wall lamps are added as embellishments. The water ripple wall at the front desk sparkles with ripples under the lights, like a flowing ocean. The floor lamp in the rest area is warm yellow. When it shines on the suede sofa, even the shadow becomes gentle. The lighting in the Spa area is dimmer, complemented by the warm glow of the candles, instantly relaxing people.

Green plants are another healing element. In the store, large POTS of turtle-back bamboo, chrysalidocarpus indicus and rubber trees can be seen everywhere, planted in metal flowerpots, which are both modern and natural. These green plants not only improve the air quality but also fill the space with vitality. When I was getting my hair done in the hairdressing area, there was a pot of chrysalidum lutescens beside me. The leaves were gently swaying in the breeze, which looked very soothing.

The touch of the material is also very important. The cloud-shaped sofa in the rest area is made of velvet. Sitting on it feels like sinking into cotton. The curtains in the Spa area are made of light and thin gauze, which undulate like waves when the wind blows. The floor is made of micro-cement, which feels warm underfoot and is not as cold as tiles. These details may seem insignificant, but they can unconsciously influence one's mood, making you let down all your guard from the moment you enter the door.

4. Technology and Nature

The water ripple wall at the front desk is a very good example. The wall is blue with a texture that mimics water ripples. When the light shines on it, it looks like a flowing ocean. This design not only features a sense of technological light and shadow effects but also natural imagery, evoking the tranquility and healing of the seaside. The mirrors in the hair salon area are also smart. They can not only adjust the brightness but also be connected to mobile phones, allowing customers to see their styling effects at any time. However, the frames of the mirrors are golden, adding a touch of retro warmth.

The integration of natural elements balances the coldness of technology. The natural stones, green plants and fabrics in the store are all materials with warmth. For instance, the display stand in the wig section has a marble countertop and a natural rock base, which is both modern and primitive. The carpet in the rest area is woven. It feels rough but warm, just like the old blankets at home when I was a child. These natural elements have made technology no longer aloof but integrated into the details of life.

Perhaps, this is the "future trend" we have been looking forward to - not more advanced equipment, not more expensive products, but designs that better understand people, warmer experiences, and more sustainable lifestyles. And this store has already brought this future before our eyes.
